If you are considering using an engineered building system for your next building project please consider the following points.

  • speed of construction - All BuildaKit structural insulated panel and timber frame kits are quick and easy to erect. As a result of factory prefabrication, time spent on site can be dramatically reduced. Due to this increased productivity, turnover and profitability can be increased without increasing your workforce. A shorter build programme can dramatically reduce on site costs such as welfare facilities, scaffold and plant hire. Further time savings can be achieved by roofing the shell prior to the external masonry work being completed. This will allow works on the interior to continue whilst the external cladding is being completed, ensuring that your programme will be unaffected by the weather conditions, whatever they maybe.
  • ease of construction - BuildaKit timber frame and structural insulated panel build systems are simple to construct and are supplied with a comprehensive set of assembly drawings and instructions. We offer a full onsite erection service with all our kits and most of our kits are available as a supply only package. If you would prefer to build your own kit and this is your first venture in to building with a prefabricated system then BuildaKit provide FREE on site training to all our customers when purchasing their first supply only kit. High levels of prefabrication result in fewer skills required on site further reducing labour and recruitment costs.
  • clean, dry construction - All BuildaKit structural insulated panel and timber frame kits are constructed using a process that uses virtually no water. This process together with high levels of prefabrication and short on site construction programmes ensure that, once constructed your building will have remained clean and as dry as the weather during construction permits. Virtually no waste products are left over from the construction process saving on site waste management costs. A dry interior ensures that maintenance defects are kept to a minimum and unlike traditional forms of construction, differential movement between materials will be greatly reduced.
