Closed Panel Timber Frame

A popular choice for self-builders, this value for money highly insulated timber frame panel offers excellent levels of thermal efficiency. The 140mm engineered timber structural frame is packed with 140mm of semi rigid mineral wool bats creating a very quiet comfortable internal environment further enhanced by an internal layer of polyurethane insulation vastly reducing thermal bridge. The polyurethane layer wraps around the opening reveals guaranteeing minimal heat loss at window sides. An additional feature of this panel is its interlocking junction details also fitted with compriband seals which coupled with the factory installed VCL and long panel lengths maximise airtightness. This insulated closed timber frame panel is supplied in lengths of up to 6000mm and is available with U-values from 0.15W/m2K up to 0.2W/m2K. Homes built using this system are quick to erect with most home structural packages being erected in around 8 days.
