Roof Cassette Timber Frame – 0.13

A quality, insulated, engineered roof panel suitable for all types of pitched roofs. Treated timber structural members are fully filled with 150mm of semi-rigid batt insulation assuring no insulation slump. To further improve the thermal efficiency of the panel, two layers of 50mm battens filled with semi-rigid batt insulation are added to the top face of the rafters – the first laid at 90° to the rafters to greatly reduce thermal bridge. The panel is strengthened by a structural OSB board under a layer of polyurethane insulation, further reducing thermal bridge. A full vapour control is fitted to each roof panel minimising air leakage. This roof panel achieves exceptional levels of thermal efficiency with a U-value as low as 0.13W/m2K dramatically reducing heating bills. Mineral wool insulation is used to insulate the roof panel, blocking out external noise creating a quiet, comfortable internal environment within your home.
